Hi everyone! Today I'm stopping by with a crazy simple diy for your holiday parties. I remembered seeing tinsel swizzle sticks on the Internet and figured, I could make them...and a lot of them! The hubs and I are toying with idea of having a New Years Eve party this year so of course I started bookmarking supplies! Would you believe we've lived in our home for eight years and hosted not one NYE party? Crazy! Anyway, as I mentioned I saw similar swizzle sticks on the net but since we have a party budget, I'm trying to find ways to save. Enter the tinsel swizzle stick diy. Its simple, inexpensive, and so darn cute.

  • tinsel garland (I purchased gold and silver at TARGET)
  • wooden skewers (mine were left over from grilling this summer)
  • scissors
  • hot glue gun and a glue stick
It's simple! Cut about a one inch piece of tinsel. Apply a dab of hot glue at the end of the skewer and wrap the tinsel around it. EASY and FAST! Not one bit time consuming !

On a side note, I love, love, love THIS HOLIDAY COCKTAIL. Maybe you will too?
